How do I find my size?

If it’s possible for you, the best bet is to go visit a local jeweler and ask them to help you find your size–most jewelers are happy to help. If you already have jewelry that fits you well, it’s always great to measure those pieces as a starting point.

If going someplace in person isn’t possible, there are some great free resources you can print at home that will help you find your size, like this one here! All of our rings are listed in US sizes, but you can match your country’s sizing by looking at an international ring size chart like this one.

When it comes to bracelets, anklets or necklaces, you can use a soft tape measure to find your size.  All of our bodies shift size a bit throughout the day, so it’s generally worthwhile to provide a little wiggle room, unless the design is meant to fit exactly (and if that’s the case, we will say so clearly in the listing). Please note that when a jewel is particularly wide or thick, you will want to size up a bit.

How do you source gems and metal for your pieces?

We work with trusted gem dealers who share our priorities regarding the primacy of safe and healthy work conditions with fair pay, fair mining practices that are sustainable and sound for both the people and ecosystem of the region, and that as much of the wealth created through mining stays in the communities that are doing the work as possible. Wherever possible, we work with recycled gold and platinum, and love giving new life to antique and vintage gems.

Shipping Policy FAQ

How much is shipping?

We offer FREE shipping on all US orders over $99 via USPS First Class mail. USPS Priority Mail, USPS Priority Mail Express, and shipping via UPS are all available at checkout for an additional fee.

What happens if my package is lost/stolen/damaged?

Every order comes with complimentary shipping insurance and tracking. If you have an issue with your package, please reach out to us at chicagojade7@gmail.com.

When will I receive my order?

Orders are processed within 3 business days for items not requiring customization. Once shipped, it will usually take USPS between 1 to 8 business days for First Class delivery on domestic orders. Please note that shipping times may be increased during holiday seasons. For international orders, your local customs agency may add additional business days for clearance in some cases.

What if my package is returned to you?

Any package returned to Chicago Jade through an error on the buyer’s part will not be refunded the shipping cost (if applicable) and a restock fee of 15% of the item’s purchase price will be deducted from a refund. For packages that qualified for free shipping, the shipping charge incurred by us to send it to you will be deducted from a refund. Some instances where a package would be returned back to us is: an error/omission of the address rendering delivery impossible, not picking up a package in time from the post office, refusing customs duties, etc. Please note that the above list is not exhaustive and are merely examples. If Chicago Jade has to pay duties for a package to be returned back to us, that will be deducted from your total refund amount.

If a package is sent back due to an error on the buyer's part and you would like us to resend it, you will be charged a shipping fee.

Can I make changes to my order?

If you need to make a change to your order, please contact our customer care team: chicagojade7@gmail.com. Once an order has been shipped, we unfortunately cannot modify it or make any changes.

Can I make a return?

Custom sales are final and non-returnable. Your order is eligible for return within 7 days of receiving it. If you have an issue with your order, please reach out to us at chicagojade7@gmail.com. 

While we strive to list all imperfections in the listing, if any, please ask all questions before you purchase a piece as all minor flaws may not be mentioned.Â
